The Pavone Outdoor lounge chair inspired by the silhouette of a peacock’s tail, evoked through a radial composition of curved aluminum elements that form the backrest and armrests. The generous, enveloping seat—made of multi-density polyurethane and acrylic padding, covered with a waterproof protective sheath—is integrated into a leather-upholstered base with a painted metal frame.
The installation The Garden of Beauty was presented at the Visionnaire Flagship Store during Design Miami and Art Basel, featuring Il Pavone, a capsule collection born from the collaboration with artist and designer Marc Ange. Inspired by ancient bestiaries and the fragile yet captivating beauty of the peacock, the collection draws from the artist’s recent travels to India and the fascination sparked by encountering the animal. This experience led to in-depth research into its behavior and its devotion to beauty. Aligned with a strong inclination for the fantastical, the designer interprets the Visionnaire universe through the allegory of this romantic creature, which embodies the brand’s unparalleled sensitivity to beauty and luxury. “The peacock is my allegory of luxury. This majestic animal does not concern itself with survival—it does not hide, defend itself, or flee. Instead, it dedicates its time and energy to showcasing its beauty,” says Marc Ange.
