Celebrated for her work as a founding member of the experimental post-punk band Sonic Youth, KIM GORDON is a multi-disciplinary artist and thinker. Kim Gordon studied at the Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles in the late 1970s and has continued to work as an artist since. Gordon’s rug for Henzel Studio is one in a series of three, and is an adaptation of a vintage dress treated with tar and morphed into an abstract shape.
