BLANCA LAMP

The Blanca LED Outdoor Floor Lamp is an exceptionally elegant example of modern lighting design that was created by Javier Mariscal for the Vondom label. A gentle source of light that compliments minimalist home interiors, it's ideal for studies, living rooms or bedrooms.

Mariscal's design studio focuses on bringing different perspectives together in one multi-disciplinary setting. In other hands, this could result in chaotic designs, but as products like the Blanca LED Outdoor Floor Lamp demonstrate, this isn't an issue with Mariscal. Instead, he and his team create elegant and functional items of furniture, lighting and general interior design.

This is also very much in keeping with Vondom's philosophy of bringing new ideas to bear on older design concepts and it's something that is plain to see with the Blanca LED Outdoor Floor Lamp. Standing on a small but solid metal base, the lamp is made from a sheet of moulded polyethylene which has been shaped into the likeness of a wind-filled sail. The 220cm tall diffuser is perfectly formed to spread light evenly and gently across the nearby space, whether that's in an artist's studio or a living room corner.
