Aurora Table Lamp — Cassoni

Aurora Table Lamp reinterprets the archetype of the historic Venetian oil lamp through a sophisticated contemporary vision, transforming a familiar object into a sculptural statement of light. Inspired by the rich heritage of Barovier&Toso’s archive, the design preserves the intimacy and warmth of traditional domestic illumination while introducing a refined aesthetic language that embodies timeless elegance and designer light fixtures.

The colored Murano glass base is crafted using a rigorously ribbed sixteen-facet mold and subsequently mouth-blown, resulting in a vibrant, substantial structure with exceptional depth and character. Its transparent diffusers feature an intricate twisted rigadin texture that enhances the interaction between light and material, generating luminous reflections and delicate optical effects. Every detail contributes to a sophisticated visual equilibrium that elevates the lamp into a true object of luxury home lighting.

Fully integrated within the structure, the advanced lighting technology remains intentionally invisible, allowing the purity of form and the artisanal craftsmanship to remain at the forefront. The soft, calibrated glow spreads naturally through the glass surfaces, creating an enveloping atmosphere defined by warmth, refinement, and sensory depth.
