Italian Luxury Interiors Warranty

Our warranty covers all manufacturer’s structural defects for 5 years from the date of purchase. A structural defect refers to a failure in the material or mechanics of the furniture's supporting structure, like the frame of a sofa or the legs of a cocktail table. This does not include the materials on the frame (such as foam, fabrics, lacquers, leathers, or varnish), which are covered by a different warranty.

For material substances and upholstery (leather, fabrics, foam, varnishes, patinas), we offer a 2-year warranty for material failure. This does not include "Wear and Tear" or "Natural Characteristics."

Moving parts, including both manual and electrical mechanisms, are covered for 2 years from the date of purchase (invoice date). See exclusions below

  1. Any repairs, labor, and materials for a furniture item that the store of purchase deems defective (after normal use under normal conditions).

  2. Shipping and delivery charges related to resolving the post-sale issue, limited to the original shipping address provided at the time of purchase.

  3. Please be aware that since our items are custom-made in Europe, there may be anticipated lead times for resolving issues. These durations can vary from days to weeks or even months depending on the nature of the issue. Please note that this warranty does not cover any loss of enjoyment of your furniture during this period.

The warranty provided by Italian Luxury Interiors is applicable solely to items from our collection, accompanied by a fully paid invoice from an Italian Luxury Interiors store. This invoice serves as the sole valid proof of purchase. If your warranty has expired, we can still offer service or replacement parts at an additional cost.

Please note that the Italian Luxury Interiors warranty is non-transferable and cannot be assigned or transferred to another individual, even if the goods are resold. Furthermore, the warranty does not cover furniture or sofas displayed in the store and sold during a clearance sale. All items sold from display are considered "Sold As Seen," unless otherwise specified in the order form.

What we do not cover:

We advise conducting a thorough inspection of your item(s) upon delivery. Should you have any concerns, kindly bring them to the attention of the delivery team, note them on the relevant delivery documentation, and promptly inform the store of purchase. Any issues reported post-delivery must be communicated within 72 hours, although this may prolong the process of determining the cause of the issue.

Please note that any damage incurred by you after delivery is not covered by the warranty. Nevertheless, we are willing to assist you in repairing or replacing the item upon request, with reasonable costs and charges applied at the discretion of the store of purchase.

Exclusions:

"Wear and Tear" and "Natural Characteristics" are not covered by our warranty under any circumstances. The diagnosis of these factors will be determined by our technicians, who may need to conduct testing in some cases.

Below are some examples of "Wear and Tear" and "Natural Characteristics." This list is not exhaustive, and Italian Luxury Interiors reserves the right to follow the diagnosis of the technician or appointed professional:

  1. Stretching and warping of seat upholstery (whether leather, fabric, or other materials) due to regular usage. These materials will naturally alter with use and exposure to abrasions, sunlight, liquids, rubbing, scratching, pulling, and stretching, including the stitching. Wrinkling is also a natural occurrence in hand-upholstered leather and fabric and is not regarded as a defect.

  2. The warranty does not cover fading of seats, upholstery, stains, carpets, woods, lacquers, and other materials caused by exposure to sunlight and other forms of abrasion.Staining of porous materials due to normal use is also not covered under warranty. Scratching or indentation of materials such as glass or lacquered surfaces.

  3. The warranty does not cover warping or movement of wood materials resulting from natural conditions like humidity. Additionally, natural characteristics of materials such as wood and leather are not considered defects and are not covered by the warranty. Examples of these characteristics include stretch marks, variations in grain or pattern, and knots.

  4. Inadequate assembly, adjustment, configuration, or any other interventions carried out by unauthorized individuals. Usage in public or professional environments, unless explicitly specified on the order form.

  5. The impact of natural body perspiration or other bodily conditions on the furniture or sofa materials.

  6. Deterioration due to improper use.

  7. Repairs or modifications by clients or unauthorized third parties.

Mechanisms and Electronics:

We offer a 2-year warranty for any item containing a mechanism, moving part, or electronics. This warranty does not cover inappropriate use, such as damage, misuse by blocking or restricting a mechanism, or failure to address voltage differences when moving an item to another country. If an issue arises with a mechanism or electronics, we will do our best to resolve it on-site; however, in some cases, the item may need to be returned to our facilities for resolution
