Memphis Milano

Memphis Milano also known as the Memphis Group—was a groundbreaking Italian design collective that emerged in Milan in 1981. Founded by visionary designer Ettore Sottsass, the group challenged conventional design norms with its bold, postmodern aesthetic. Drawing inspiration from Art Deco, Pop Art, and 1950s kitsch, Memphis Milano introduced vibrant colors, geometric shapes, and unconventional materials into furniture and decorative objects.
