A chessboard pattern lies at the heart of Sorrento, an open reference to Gio Ponti’s design of prized ceramics realized for the floors of Hotel Parco Principi in the town of Vietri, Italy. Masterworks, such as Tibetan wool and natural silk varieties, contribute to a feeling of harmony and a sense of proportion struck by the perfect balance between design, shape and color. The carpet is carefully made using hand spun and hand carded wool: 30% pure silk and 70% Tibetan wool. The carpet color options are blue and brown.
