Axel Dining Table by Roche Bobois was designed by Hatano Hyoshiaru. This dining table is both utilitarian and attractive. The top is comprised of glass, ceramic, and Fénix® and is supported by two crossed steel tubes in the center. The two 40-centimeter extension leaves can lengthen the top by 80 centimeters.
The table is made of 3mm-thick Savoy, Fokos, or Ossidiana Scuro ceramic composite glued on a 10mm-thick glass slab, or 5mm-thick Marmi ceramic composite glued on an 8mm-thick glass slab. The crossbar is made of aluminum. The bottom is composed of a steel central leg and base with a lacquer finish that matches the top. The table is available in different color and size options, please inquire for details.
Fenix NTM, is a revolutionary material that combines ultra-matte appearance with cutting-edge technological performance and is used for the dining table's surface. Acrylic resins and nanotechnology were used to create this laminate. This material resists scratches, abrasions, friction, and dry heat thanks to its velvety touch and fingerprint resistance. It's also impervious to impacts, chemicals, and cleaning agents.
