First Chair

First Chair by Michele De Lucchi. The First Chair imitates a sitter by using geometric shapes in a creative way. On four tubular metal legs is a flat disc made of black wood with a tubular metal edging. A turquoise disc that serves as a backrest and two black balls that function as armrests are supported by a circular metal hoop that rises from the front legs and tilts sharply backward.
